Break ins An apartment was broken into in the 100 Block of Wallace Terrace. Some beer and a ball hat were reported stolen. A residence was broken into in the 100 block of Edmunds Ave.

 

Break ins

An apartment was broken into in the 100 Block of Wallace Terrace.  Some beer and a ball hat were reported stolen.

A residence was broken into in the 100 block of Edmunds Ave.  A window screen was reported damaged but nothing was reported stolen.

A garage was broken into in the 100 Block of Second Line West.  A black electric scooter with a CAA sticker on it was reported stolen.

Damage to house

Damage was reported to a house in the 200 block of Brown Street.  It is believed a vehicle may have struck the building damaging the siding and a down spout.

Tires slashed

Tires were reported slashed on a vehicle in the 700 block of Metzger Ave.

Thefts from vehicles

There were twenty one thefts from vehicles reported today.  A purse, GPS, wallet, and cash are among the items reported stolen.  In some cases the valuable items were left in vehicles with unlocked doors while in other cases windows were smashed to get at the valuable items.  The thefts were primarily in the central to east end of the city but there were also occurrences in the west end.

Theft and probation breach

28 year old Rosemary Pheasant of 28 Wellington Street East was charged with theft and breach of probation.  It is alleged that on October 29th she selected items from Sears in the station mall and attempted to leave without paying for them.  She will be attending court on November 26th.

Break and Enter:

Police were called to the 100 block of Edmonds Avenue regarding a break and enter to a residence.  Entry was gained through a window at the rear of the residence.  It is unknown at this time if anything was taken.

Arrest:

On October 28, 2012 at approximately 10:45 pm police were patrolling in the area of Gore Street and Cathcart Street. A check of a female known to police was conducted and found that she was bond by conditions of a probation order.  The accused was to be in her residence between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am and was not.  The accused was also bond by a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The accused was arrest for breaching probation X 2. The accused Kaitland Rathbone-Laforge age 18 of 421 Connaught Avenue, will appear in bail court on October 29, 2012 at 10:00 am.

Theft:

A vehicle was entered in the 1500 block of Trunk Road and a purse taken.  The vehicle was not locked.

A vehicle was entered in the 90 block of Beaumont Avenue and a Drill Kit Bag was removed.

A vehicle was entered in the 300 block of Bloor Street West.  Currency was taken.
