Threatening Death

18 year old Bradley Christopher Dicandia of 9 Crestview Crescent was arrested and charged with 1 count of threatening death. It is alleged that on the 17th of November just after 4am the accused attended at a home in the east end of the city. The accused was asked by the owner to leave the property, at which time he did and returned a short while later with a car load of friends. At this time the accused was forcibly removed from the property by the owner who was known to him. The accused then threatened the victim by stating he was going to come back and kill him. The accused was arrested just after 5am at the Police Station. He will be appearing in bail court.

Impaired Driving

1) 21 year old Tysen Frank Vanderloo of 390 Old Goulais Bay Road has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving and 1 count of consume alcohol over the legal limit. It is believed that the accused was operating a 1992 Oldsmobile westbound on Fourth Line East approaching Old Goulais Bay road. His vehicle crossed over the center line and struck a telephone pole in the front yard of 267 Fourth Line East. The pole snapped in half and the vehicle rolled onto its roof coming to rest in the driveway of that same address. The accused was taken to the hospital by ambulance where he was treated for non- life threatening injuries. The accused will be appearing in court on the 7th of January.

2) 40 year old Bryan Francis Akiwenzie of 150 Pittsburg Avenue has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving and 1 count of consuming alcohol over the legal limit. It is alleged that the accused was observed by Police Officers traveling west bound in the through lane on McNabb Street at Great Northern Road. The vehicle was stopped at the light and when it turned green he was observed by the officers observed this vehicle swerve into the curb then proceeded to sway from line to line. The emergency lights and sirens were activated but it took the accused approximately 300 yards to stop. The accused was found to be intoxicated with a bottle of alcohol in the front seat. He is to appear in court on the 24th of December.

Breach

1) 23 year old Justin Stanley Hiltz of 100 Mississauga Drive, Elliot Lake has been charged with breaching his conditional sentence order on or between the 1st of September and the 9th of November. The accused did so by associating directly with a person under the age of 16years of age without adult supervision. The accused also breached his order by attending a park where children under the age of 16 may be present. The accused is to appear in bail court.

2) 19 year old Cody Marshall of 10 Dawson Road has been charged with 2 counts of breaching his conditional sentence order. The accused just before 4am on the 17th of November was found by Police Officers on Wellington Street East past his curfew of 11pm and 6am and had consumed alcohol also against his order. He is scheduled to appear in bail court.
