Male Arrested for Threatening Persons with a Knife
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 18 year-old Jeffrey Leclaire of #301-652 Macdonald Avenue on the 4th of May at 4:55 am at an east end residence and charged him with one count of threatening to cause death or bodily harm, one count of assault with a weapon, one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house, one count of trespassing at night and one count of person under 19 years consume liquor. It is alleged that on the 14th of May around midnight the accused was at an east end residence of persons known to him and when asked to leave by the homeowner he pulled out a knife and threatened to stab everyone in the house. The accused had fled prior to police arrival but returned a few hours later and entered the home through a basement window. At the time of the incident the accused was under the influence of alcohol. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Arrested for Consume over the Legal Limit
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 34 year-old Jeremiah Grawbarger on the 15th of May at 1:58 am on Lyons Avenue and charged him with one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 15th of May the accused was stopped during the RIDE Program and at the time he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The accused registered a fail on the road side screening device. He is to appear in court on the 20th of June.

Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23 year-old Tianna Theriault of 53 Bristol Place on the 14th of May at 2:35 am on Pine Street on an outstanding warrant and charged her with one count of fraud. It is alleged that between the 12th of June and the 3rd of July of 2010 the accused fraudulent used the credit card of a person known to her to make several purchases without the victim’s permission. She is to appear in court on the 20th of June.

Youth Arrested for Breach of Probation
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 16 year-old male youth on the 14th of May at 1:33 am in the area of Trunk Road and charged him with one count of person under 19 years consume liquor, one count of intoxicated in a public place and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 14th of May at 1:33 am officers observed the accused in an intoxicated state in the area of Trunk Road. At the time the accused was on probation with curfew conditions to be in his place of residence from 10 pm to 7a m and was to keep the peace and be good. He is to appear in court on the 26th of June.

Domestic Related Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 16 year-old female on the 15th of May at 7:32 pm and charged her with count of assault. It is alleged that on the 15th of May the accused assaulted her ex-boyfriend while at a downtown residence. She is to appear in court on the 21st of June.

Female Youth Arrested for Assault
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 16 year-old female youth on the 13th of May at 10:10 pm and charged her with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 13th of May the accused got into a dispute with a family member and assaulted them. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be good. She is to appear in court on the 14th of June.

Male Arrested for Breach of Probation
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 18 year-old Jordon Springbett of 75 Capp Avenue on the 15th of May 12:45 on Chambers Avenue and charged him with two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 15th of May officers received a call to check on four males that were causing a disturbance in the area of Dacey Road Officers located the accused and when they ran a check on him they discovered that he was on probation with a curfew condition to be in his residence from 9 pm to 7 am and further he was to keep the peace and be good. He is to appear in court on the 20th of June.

Suspicious Fire
On the 14th of May at approximately 5:29 am officers attended with Sault Fire Services at a suspicious fire at the rear vestibule of 172 Gore Street. The fire is under investigation at this time.

Break and Enter Report
A residence on Wallace Terrace was broken into on Friday during the day. Jewellery and a digital and video camera were reported stolen.

Theft Reports
• Vehicles were entered on First Avenue Hare Avenue, Second Line West, Queen Street East, and Goulais Avenue. Items stolen included a passport, a cell phone a purse, a backpack a trailer hitch and two bicycles.
• A specialized Hardrock Mountain bike was stolen from Kerr Drive.
