Two Males Arrested on Outstanding Warrants Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22 year-old Curtis St.
Two Males Arrested on Outstanding Warrants
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 22 year-old Curtis St. Pierre of 20 Grosvenor Avenue on an outstanding warrant on the 12th of June at 5:30 am at the police station and charged him with one count of fail to appear court. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 68 year-old Roderick Mackay of #1-664 Frontenac Street on an outstanding warrant on the 10th of June at 3 pm at his residence and charged him with three counts of breach of a release document and one count of fail to appear court. He is to appear in court on the 13th of July.

Male Arrested for Driving While Disqualified
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 44 year-old Terry Vallee of 24 Allen Street on the 10th of June at 3:15 pm on Andrew Street and charged him with one count of drive while disqualified. It is alleged that on the 10th of June the accused was observed by officers operating a Dodge pickup on Cathcart Street and at the time he was prohibited from driving. He is to appear in court on the 11th of July.

Impaired Driving Arrest
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 39 year-old Kevin Bodnarchuk of 306 Reid Street on the 11th of June at 2:59 am at Canada Customs on Huron Street. It is alleged that the accused was stopped and checked at Canada Customs and at the time he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The accused registered a fail on the approved screening device and was subsequently charged with one count of consuming over the legal limit. He is to appear in court on the 11th of July.

Male Arrested for Assault
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 63 year-old Allen Boyer of #286-969 Queen Street East on the 10th of June at 7:40 pm and charged him with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 10th of June at approximately 7:30 pm the accused assaulted a security guard at the Plummer Hospital. The accused is to appear in court on the 11th of July.

Male Arrested for Possession of Stolen Property
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 53 year-old Kevin Bjornaa of 765 McAllen Street on the 12th of June at 9:35 am at his residence and charged him with one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that between the 15th and 30th of March 2011, the accused had in his possession, numerous items of angle iron and other steel that had been stolen from a local plumbing business. During that time the accused sold the stolen items to a local scrap yard. The accused is to appear in court on the 11th of July.

Break and Enters
• A garage on Fournier Road was entered on the 10th of June. A mitre saw was reported taken.

• A shed on Goulais Avenue was broken into overnight on the 12th of June. It is not known at this time what, if anything was taken.

• An apartment complex on McNabb Street had some storage lockers broken into overnight on the 12th of June. Some fishing tackle was reported taken.

• A garage on McPhail Avenue was entered and four vehicles inside were gone through. A purse, credit cards, cash and two cell phones were reported stolen.
Mischief Reports:

• A Wellington Street East residence window was reported smashed.

• A restroom at a local restaurant was vandalized.

• A shed on Summit Avenue was spray painted.

• A vehicle on Goulais Avenue was vandalized.

• A van on Goulais Avenue was spray painted and gone through.

Theft Reports
• A 21 speed mountain bike was stolen from Grace Street.

• Several vehicles were entered throughout the city. Some of the items stolen that had been left inside, included two wallets, cash and change, an iPod adapter, two Garmin GPS units and chargers, an iPod, a cell phone charger, a CD Case with 20 CD’S and a briefcase.
