Arrests/Charged Persons: Evening report One male was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the police station for breath tests. His readings were under the legal limit and he was released unconditionally.

One male was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the police station for breath tests. His readings were under the legal limit and he was released unconditionally.

Break and Enters/Other Property Crimes: (Thefts, Mischief Reports, etc.):

Tires were reported slashed on vehicles on Dundas Street and Beverly Street. A male with a black hoody and a backpack was seen in the area in both cases

A business in the 200 block of Second Line West was broken into and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

A contractor’s trailer on Bruce Street was broken into and 2 nail guns were stolen.

Copper wire was reported stolen from a business in the 1100 block of Peoples Road.

A wallet was stolen from a business in the 400 block of Pim Street.

A Cobra BMX bicycle was stolen from a residence on Vesta Place.

A Bushnell trail camera was stolen from a residence on Harten Street

A wedding ring and cash were stolen from a residence on Parr Ave.

A residence was broken into in the 200 block of Birch Street and prescription drugs were reported stolen.

A single motor vehicle accident occurred this afternoon involving a police motorcycle. The officer operating the motorcycle was transported to the hospital by ambulance with non life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Morning report

A 52 year old male was arrested and charged with 3 counts of assault. The charges stem from three different domestic related incidents. He is scheduled to appear in bail court this morning.
