On Sunday morning at approximately 4:54 a.m. police were called to Mike's Mart at Pine and McNabb St. with regards to an armed robbery. With the assistance of the police canine unit, the culprits were tracked to a house in the 300 block of McNabb St. As a result one 20 year old male and two 17 year old males are facing numerous charges.

Elliott Southwind age 20 of no fixed address is charged with armed robbery, possession of dangerous weapon, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy. The two young offenders face similiar charges, but one has also been charged with 2 counts of mischief as windows at Krazy Ernies and John's TV were broken. All 3 accused will apppear in bail court today. Cash, cigarettes and food were the targets for these bandits. Weapon used was described as a long bladed knife.
