Domestic Related Arrests
A 21 year-old male was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on the 21st of January at 2:20 pm and charged with one count of criminal harassment. It is alleged that from the 19th – 20th of January the accused contacted his ex-girlfriend numerous times by telephone calls and text messages. The communication was unwanted by the victim and the accused had already been warned by police not to contact her.

A 39 year-old male was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on the 23rd of January at 4:35 pm and charged with two counts of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 19th of January the accused attended on the property of his ex-wife and at the time he was on a recognizance order to remain away from her and her property due to previous domestic related charges. Further, he was to keep the peace and be good.

A 51 year-old female was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on the 21st of January at 10:15 pm and charged with two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 21st of January at approximately 8:20 pm officers received a call to remove a female from a residence. When they arrived they found that the female was intoxicated and when they ran a check on her found that she was on probation with conditions that she not attend at the male complainant’s residence due to previous domestic reacted charges. Further, she was to keep the peace and be good.

A 34 year-old male was arrested by officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service on the 23rd of January at 5:38 pm and charged with four counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 23rd of January at approximately 1:18 am the accused attended at the residence of a female that he was on conditions not to communicate with due to past domestic related charges, got into a verbal argument with her and stole her cell phone. Further he was on conditions to stay away form her home and he was to keep the peace and be good.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 25 year-old Graham Tarrant of #1-326 Albert Street West on the 22nd of January at 7:08 pm at his residence and charged him with one count of threaten death or bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 24th of November the accused attended at the residence of a male known to him and threatened to kill him. He is to attend in court on the 28th of February.

Male Arrested after Internal Thefts at His Place Of Employment
Officers with the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 21 year-old Matthew Earl of #204-99 Cambridge Place on the 23rd of January at 7:02 pm at the police station and charged him with three counts of theft under $5,000. It is alleged that between the 11th of and 15th of January, on three separate occasions while working at a local bar, the accused removed money from the night deposit. The total value stolen equaled $600. All the thefts were caught on video. He is to appear in court on the 28th of February.

Break and Enters
• A residence in the 300 block of Cathcart Street was entered sometime between the 20th and 21st of January.
• A residence on Cathcart Street was entered sometime between the 20th of January after 11:30 pm and on 1:20 am on the 21st. An Acer Laptop was stolen.

Theft Reports
• Licence plates were reported stolen from vehicles in the 300 block of Albert Street East and on Amber Street.

Mischief Report
• A vehicle on Princeton Drive had the bumper ripped off and tires slashed on the 23rd of January.
