Domestic Related Arrests

A 39 year-old male was arrested on the 10th of January at 4:40 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault and two counts of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on the 10th of January the accused got into a verbal argument with his common law spouse at their residence, assaulted her and threw a plate at her. A female that was there at the time of the dispute, attempted to intervene and was also assaulted by the accused. Officers learned further, that on the 27th of December the accused assaulted his common law partner with a pipe. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

A 15 year-old male youth was arrested on the 9th of January at 8:54 pm at a centrally located residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 9th of January around 8:30 am the accused at his ex-girlfriend’s residence and assaulted her. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. He is to appear in court on the 23rd of February.

Impaired Driver Arrested

21 year-old Nicholas Hunter of 564 Fifth Line East was arrested on the 9th of January at 2:15 am on Foster Drive and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 9th of January at approximately 2:12 am the accused was involved in a minor collision with a cab in the parking lot of a local downtown bar. The accused, operating a Dodge Dakota pickup, rear ended the cab and then drove off to another area in the lot. Police located the accused still inside the vehicle in the lot and at the time he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He is to appear in court on the 22nd of February.

Mischief Related Arrest:
47 year-old Agnes Trowbridge of #324-138 East Street was arrested on the 10th of January at 9:20 pm on East Street and charged with one count of mischief. It is alleged that on the 10th of January at 9:15 pm the accused kicked and damaged an apartment door of a person known to her at the 138 East Street complex. She is to appear in court on the 22nd of February.


Theft Related Arrest

28 year-old Shannon Boyer of Room#10-864 Queen Street East was arrested on the 9th of January at 1:25 am at her residence and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 7th of January the accused was visiting at a residence of a person known to her at which time she stole a number of items from the residence, including jewellery, wallets, cash, credit cards, a laptop and prescription medication. She is to appear in court on the 22nd of February.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

19 year-old Mason Falls was arrested on the 9th of January at 9:30 pm on outstanding warrants on Gladstone Avenue and charged with two counts of fail to appear court. He is to attend court on the 22nd February.
