Two Males Arrested on Outstanding Warrants for Robbery Incidents: 1) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 30th of January at 9 pm at a downtown residence on several outstanding warrants from October and November of last year.
Two Males Arrested on Outstanding Warrants for Robbery Incidents:

1) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 30th of January at 9 pm at a downtown residence on several outstanding warrants from October and November of last year. One of the warrants was from a robbery incident on the 29th of October when the accused allegedly attended at the Mac’s Mart on Gore Street at approximately 5:30 am with a can of bear spray, stole a number of items and threatened to spray the clerk. He attended back at the same store on the 5th of November and stole more items from store and fled. The incidents were recorded on surveillance video in the store. It is further alleged that the accused attended at the Beer Store on Bruce Street on the 10th of November and stole a case of beer and ran from the area. He has been charged with one count of robbery, two counts of theft under $5,000.00, one count of threaten death or bodily harm and four counts of breach of probation. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

2) 34 year-old Michael Greganti of 2345 Base Line was arrested on the 2nd of February at 12:45 am at the city police station after turning himself in on outstanding warrants. He has been charged with one count of attempt robbery and one count of threaten death or bodily harm. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Impaired Drivers Arrested:

1) 62 year-old David Nott of 391 Carpin Beach Road was arrested on the 31st of January at 2:52 am on Queen Street West and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 31st of January at approximately 2:13 am the accused was driving a 2004 PT Cruiser in the parking lot of a downtown restaurant when he backed his car into another un-attended parked vehicle. Minor damage was reported. When police attended to investigate the accident they found the accused to be under the influence of alcohol. He is to appear in court on the 2nd of March.

2) 31 year-old Todd Innes of 26 Assunta Drive was arrested on the 31st of January at 11:18 pm on Second Line West and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 31st of January at 11:00 pm the accused was driving a 2008 Mazda Tribute westbound on Second Line West when he proceeded through a red light at the Korah Road intersection a struck a Ford pickup that had been northbound on Korah Road. Police attended to investigate the accident and found the accused to be under the influence of alcohol. No injuries were reported at the time of the accident. The Mazda received severe damage and the truck received minor damage. The accused is to appear in court on the 2nd of March.

3) 21 year-old Loretta Waboose of 166 South Market Street was arrested on the 1st of February at 10:25 pm on Adeline Street and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of theft over $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 1st of February around 10:24 pm the accused stole a 1995 Ford Pickup from a residence on Gran Street and shortly afterwards, crashed the vehicle into a snowbank on Adeline Street. When police attended they found the accused to be under the influence of alcohol. She is to appear in bail court this morning.

4) A 17 year-old female was arrested on the 2nd of February at 12:29 am on St. Georges Avenue and charged with one count of impaired driving, one count of consume over the legal limit and one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 2nd of February at approximately 12:06 am city police received a call from a witness regarding a 1995 Chrysler that had just struck a PUC pole on St. George’s Avenue. Police attended and found the accused to be under the influence of alcohol. No injuries were reported. The pole and vehicle were severely damaged. Further investigation by officers revealed that the accused had stolen the vehicle from a relative in Thessalon, Ontario on the evening of the 1st of February. She is to appear in bail court this morning.

Domestic Related Arrests:

1) An 18 year-old male was arrested on the 30th of January at 5 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of release document. It is alleged that on the 29th of January at approximately 2 pm the accused got into a verbal argument with his ex-girlfriend at her residence and assaulted her by shoving her and grabbing her around her arms. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. The accused was on an undertaking with conditions not to molest, harass or annoy the victim. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

2) A 21 year-old male was arrested on the 30th of January at 6:30 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 30th of January at approximately 2:30 pm the accused assaulted his girlfriend while at his residence by punching her in the face and pulling her hair. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Theft Related Arrests:

25 year-old Raymond Gregoire of 217 Beverley Street (main floor) was arrested on the 1st of February at 11:07 am at the Essar Centre and charged with theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 1st of February at approximately 11:00 am the accused entered a dressing room at the Essar Centre and went through several purses and stole cash from three of them. The accused attempted to leave but was quickly apprehended by an off-duty police officer that was at the Centre. The accused is to appear in court on the 2nd of March.

39 year-old Deborah Marino of 682 Albert Street West (rear apt.) was arrested on the 31st of January at 1:15 pm at Zellers in the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 31st of January the accused attended at the store just before 1 pm and stole a hair dryer. She was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 2nd of March.

An Energizer vehicle battery was taken from a vehicle parked on Wiber Street on the 30th of January.

A vehicle on Carmel Road was entered overnight on the 2nd of February and point’s ID card was stolen from it.

Mischief Reports:

On the 31st of January around 11:51 pm a youth wearing a black hoodie damaged a vehicle parked on Anna Street when he struck it with a baseball bat. The accused then struck the mailbox and fled from the area.
