Two Break and Enters were reported to City Police during the last 12 hours. One was to a residence in the McNabb and Black Road hill area. Entry was gained through an unlocked window and thieves made off with an XBOX, 10 games, a gold men’s bracelet a Sir James Dunn Gold watch and a black, grey and red duffle bag.

The other, was to a garage in the east end where a side door was kicked in and an amount of beer and a bottle of liquor was stolen.

Probation breach

A 27 year old male was arrested today by members of the City Police Street Team on a warrant for one count of Breach of Probation. The charges stem from a domestic related incident. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on January 9th.

Harrassment:

A 21 year old male was arrested for one count of harassing telephone calls, one count of threatening death and one count of threatening to damage property.  It is alleged that the accused repeatedly called an ex girlfriend despite being warned on two separate occasions to cease.  On December 2nd the accused called the female and threatened to damage a car parked in the driveway of her residence and kill the owner.  The accused will be appearing in court on January 9th.

Break and enter:

A break and enter was reported to a home in the 700 block of Frontenac Street.  It is reported that between November 30th and Dec 2nd, unknown persons forced entry into the home by breaking in a door and once inside dumped several drawers and searched through the house.  It is unknown what, if anything was stolen at this point.

Impaired:

On December 2nd at approximately 7:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Wallace Terrace and Spadina Avenue.  Upon arrival officers found a truck overturned in a ditch.  The driver of the truck was identified as 26 year old Kristin Stewart of 2321 base line in Sault Ste. Marie.  It is alleged that she was exhibiting signs of being impaired by alcohol and she was arrested and taken to the police station for breath tests.  She was subsequently charged with impaired driving and consuming over the legal limit and will be appearing in court on January 7th.
