45 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT.

A 45 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault, 1 count of threatening death and 1 count of breach of probation order.
It is believed that on the 25th of December just after 1am the accused assaulted his girlfriend by striking her in the throat with his hand. The accused also threatened to kill the victim’s adult daughter. At the time of the arrest the accused was on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.

VINCENZO FRONZI CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

46 year old Vincenzo Fronzi of 293 Douglas Street has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving, 1 count of consuming over the legal limit, 1 count of driving while disqualified and 1 count of breaching his probation order. He will be appearing in bail court this morning.
The accused was arrested on the 28th of December just before 4am, on Wellington Street West.
At the time of the arrest the accused was found to be a prohibited driver and was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

16 YEAR OLD CHARGED WITH ROBBERY

A 16year old male has been charged with 1 count of robbery and 1 count of breaching his probation order.
On the 27th of December in the downtown area, the accused assaulted a person known to him with a beer bottle and stole the victim’s cell phone. The victim suffered facial injuries that were not life threatening.
At the time of the incident the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He is scheduled to appear in bail court today.

31 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT

A 31 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault, 1 count of threatening death, and 2 counts of breach of probation order.
It is beleived that in the early morning hours of the 25th of December the accused assaulted his common law girl friend by chocking her, throwing her against a wall, and threatening to kill her. Police were called and the accused was arrested. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to abstain from alcohol consumption. He will be appearing in bail court today.
The victim in this incident suffered non-life threatening injuries.

41 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT

A 41 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault, 1 count of assault with a weapon and 1 count of breach of probation order.
On the 27th of December at approximately 11:30pm the accused assaulted his common law partner by grabbing her by the throat and chocking her. On the 28th of December at approximately 1am the accused assaulted the same victim by striking her above the eye with a snow shovel. Both incidents occurred at their centrally located residence. At the time of the incidents the accused was on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He will be appearing in bail court today.

27 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT.

A 27 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault and 2 counts of breach of probation order.
It is beleived that on the 28th of December just after 2am, the accused assaulted his girlfriend by grabbing her arm, pulling her up some stairs and pushing her. At the time of the incident the accused had been drinking and was on a probation order to not harass or annoy the victim and to refrain from drinking alcohol. He will be appearing in bail court this morning.

25 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT

A 25 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault, 1 count of break and enter and commit, and 1 count of breach of probation order.
It is believed that on the 24th of December the accused attended at his girlfriend’s east end residence and assaulted her by pushing her down the stairs and punching her. The victim managed to get the accused outside and lock her door. The accused then committed the offence of break and enter by kicking in the door and damaging the frame.
At the time of the incident the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
He will be appearing in bail court today.

48 YEAR OLD MALE ARRESTED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANT

On the 29th of December a 48 year old male attended at the Sault Ste Marie Police Service and turned himself in. The accused was wanted for domestic assault from an incident which occurred on the 24th of December. He was arrested and will be appearing in bail court this morning.

MALE CHARGED WITH FRAUD

25 year old Kevin Joshua Roy Towegishig of 503 Walkover Street, Thunder Bay has been charged with 1 count of fraud and 1 count of personating.
It is believed that on the 28th of December the accused attended at Wal-Mart and was observed by store security in the electronic department. The accused would select items and then walk down the aisle and place them on a shelf. The accused did this a number of times with items such as MP3 Players, a Playstation3. The accused then put all the items in a Wal-Mart bag and then attended at customer service to return the items. He received $208. The accused was apprehended by store security. And Police were called.
The accused proceeded to give officers a false name at the time of his arrest.
He will be appearing in bail court this morning.

40 YEAR OLD FEMALE CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED

40 year old Brenda Lee Swanson of 31 Winston Road, Wawa has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving and 1 count of consume over the legal limit.
On the 27th of December at 7pm Officers were called to Andrew Street and Albert Street West in regards to a motor vehicle collision. Officers found the accused to be in care and control of the vehicle and impaired by alcohol. She was arrested and transported to the station.
She will be appearing in court on the 2nd of February.

46 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC ASSAULT

A 46 year old male has been charged with 1 count of assault and 1 count of breach of probation order. It is believed that on the 26th of December at approximately 4am the accused was involved in a verbal argument with his girlfriend at her down town residence. The argument escalated and the accused punched the victim numerous times in the head and face. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused will be appearing in court on the 30th of December.

23 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

23 year old Zebadiaha Broderick Rendell of 66 Hillside Drive has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving and 1 count of consume over the legal limit.
On the 26th of December at approximately 3am officers observed the accused driving a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed on Wellington Street West. Officers activated the cruisers emergency lights to attempt to stop the vehicle. The accused drove through a red light and 2 stop signs before loosing control and striking a snow bank at Wellington Street West and Wallace Terrace. He was found to have been drinking alcohol.
He will be appearing in court on the 2nd of February.
