Six for Bail Court A 15-year-old male was arrested on the 20th of August 2010 at10:55 a.m. at his residence subsequent to a surety revocation. 18-year-old Brooks Warmington of no fixed abode was arrested on the 20th of August 2010 at 2:40 p.m.

18-year-old Brooks Warmington of no fixed abode was arrested on the 20th of August 2010 at 2:40 p.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie courthouse subsequent to an outstanding warrant of committal regarding a surety revocation.

40-year-old Richard Kevin Witty of 318 Albert Street West was arrested on the 20th of August 2010 at 12: 42 p.m. at his place of residence and charged with assault, mischief and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused assaulted a female known to him by punching her in the head and caused mischief by smashing a chair. The accused was bound by a probation order at the time with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior.

39-year-old Trevor Scott Langin of 151 Wellington Street East was arrested on the 22nd of August 2010 at 12:18 a.m. subsequent to a search warrant at his residence that was conducted by members of the Sault Ste. Marie Street Team and Investigation Services. It is alleged that police located a small grow operation involving several marijuana plants as well as trafficking items. A small quantity of cannabis marijuana was also located. The accused was charged with production of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug for the purpose of trafficking. The street value of the seizure is estimated at $6, 200.00.

30-year-old Adam Warren of 615 Placid Avenue was arrested on the 23rd of August 2010 at 12:30 a.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and charged with breach of recognizance. It is alleged that the accused was in violation of a condition of a curfew on the 13th of August 2010 by not being in his residence at the required time.

A 22-year-old female was arrested on the 24rd of August 2010 at 4:45 a.m. at her place of residence subsequent to a domestic disturbance and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged that a verbal altercation with her husband escalated to the point where the accused threw a set of keys at him. The victim received minor injuries that did not require medical attention at the time.

Two Females Charged with Obstruct Police
25-year-old Crystal-Lynn Hart of 130 Gore Street and 18-year-old Shelbie Zaldiner of 20 Albert Street West were arrested on the 20th of August 2010 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the downtown area for obstructing Police. It is alleged that both accused parties continually interfered with undercover officers who were involved in surveillance work regarding prostitution. They are required to attend court on the 27th of September 2010.

Impaired Driver
44-year-old Bruce Hollingsworth of 192 Upton Road was arrested on the 21st of August 2010 at 1:45 a.m. on Upton Road for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged that the accused was observed by patrol officers operating a pickup truck erratically and at a high rate of speed on Wellington Street East. He was subsequently stopped on Upton road and found to be under the influence of alcohol which impaired his ability to operate a motor vehicle. The accused was also charged with breaching a condition of a release order as he was under conditions not to consume alcohol. Mr. Hollingsworth is compelled to attend court on the 27th of September 2010.

Michief
53-year-old Bruce Twentymen of 494 Highway 17 North was arrested on the 21st of August 2010 at 10:00 a.m. on Gore Street and charged with mischief. It is alleged that the accused had attended a residence in the downtown area and kicked in a door belonging to a female known to him. He was released with a court date of the 27th of September 2010.

Assaults
25-year-old Ryan Boyer of 61 Gemah Street in Garden River was arrested on the 21st of August 2010 at 4:05 p.m. on Albert Street East and charged with assault. It is alleged that earlier the accused assaulted a male party known to him in the downtown area by punching and kicking him. The accused was also charged with breach of probation as he was on a condition at the time to keep the peace and be of good behavior. The victim received minor injuries that did not require medical attention at the time.

20-year-old Daniel James Fremlin of 415 McCarrell Lake Road in Echo Bay was arrested on the 22nd of August 2010 at 2:20 a.m. on Queen Street East and charged with assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that the accused was involved in a verbal altercation with another male party known to him at a local drinking establishment on Queen Street East. The argument escalated to a point where the accused punched the victim causing facial and leg injuries that were not life threatening but required medical attention. Mr. Fremlin is required to attend court on the 27th of September 2010.

25-year-old Bradley Donald Williamson and 22-year-old Elizabeth Ann Archibald of 65 Atwater Street were arrested on the 22nd of August 2010 on Queen Street East subsequent to an altercation with two female victims. It is alleged that the accused Archibald had a verbal altercation with one of the female victims while walking down Queen Street that quickly escalated to a point where she wrestled her to the ground and pulled her hair. The accused Williamson pushed the other female victim against the wall then kicked the female victim who was on the ground with the co-accused. Both are to appear in court on the 27th of September 2010.

Break and Enters
A residence on Vesta Place and a residence in the 1200 Block of Wellington Street East were reported broken into over the weekend. Alcohol appears to have been taken from Vesta Place and a flat screen t.v. was taken on Wellington Street East.

Thefts
Vehicles were reported entered on James Street, the 300 and 500 Block of Albert Street East, and on Pentagon Boulevard. Among items taken were a couple of GPS units, two passports, and assorted change.

A tailgate was stolen from a truck on Conmee Avenue.

License plates were stolen from a vehicle on Terry Fox Place and from a vehicle in the 100 Block of East Balfour Street.

An aluminum boat was stolen from a residence in the 200 Block of Sunnyside Beach Road.
