The following persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) A 43 year-old male was arrested on the 11th of August at his east end residence and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of a release document.
The following persons will be appearing in bail court this morning:

1) A 43 year-old male was arrested on the 11th of August at his east end residence and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend by pushing her into a wall. There were no injuries reported. At the time of the incident the accused was on conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

2) 19 year-old Curtis St Pierre of 23 Nebenaigoching Street was arrested on the 12th of August around 5:10 am on Herrick Street and charged with one count of break, enter and commit and one count of possession of housebreaking tools and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 12th of August just after 5 am the accused broke into an office on Hynes Street and stole a computer valued at approximately $3,000.00. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Several persons wee arrested on outstanding warrants and will be appearing in bail court this morning:

1) 20 year-old David Christie of 178 Wellington Street East-side apartment was arrested on the 12th of August just before 11 pm on Wilcox Avenue after being stopped in his vehicle by city police. It is alleged that when city police stopped the accused in his vehicle and ran a check they discovered the accused to be a suspended driver and that he was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear court on the 4th of June.

2) 18 year-old Robert Robinson-Perrault of 23 Nebenaigoching Street was arrested at the O.P.P. Station on the 11th of August just before 8 am on an outstanding warrant in relation to a stolen vehicle from the 9th of June. The accused was in custody of the O.P.P. for impaired driving.

3) 38 year-old Michelle Collins of 261 St. James Street was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 10th of August on Albert Street East and charged with one count of being unlawfully at large for failing to report at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Center on the 8th of June. At the time officers were checking the accused it is alleged that she was found to be in possession of a small amount of morphine and was on a court release document with conditions to notify change of address. The accused moved and didn’t report her address change. The accused was further charged with possession of a controlled drug or substance and breach of a release document.

4) 22 year-old Jarret Jocko of #3-42 Cathcart Street was arrested on the 10th of August around 1:50 pm on West Street on outstanding warrants and charged with one count of assault causing bodily harm. One count of forcible confinement and one count of breach of probation.

5) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 13th of August just before 3 am on Second Line East on outstanding warrants and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of a release document.

Possession of Stolen Bike

21 year-old Loren Cote of no fixed address was arrested just before 2 pm on Wellington Street East and charged with one count of breach of a release document and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that the accused was stopped by city police riding his bicycle on the sidewalk on Wellington Street East. It is alleged that they ran a check on him and discovered that he was on conditions to notify any change of address and he was not residing at the release address. It is further alleged that when officers ran a check on the bike they discovered that it was reported stolen back in October of 2005.

Impaired Driver's

1) 47 year-old Gary Wynne of 131 Turner Avenue was arrested on the 11th of August around 10:34 pm on Cooper Street and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of fail to provide breath or blood sample. It is alleged that the accused was witnessed driving his vehicle erratically on Cooper Street and when officers attended and checked him they found him to be under the influence of alcohol. When the accused was brought to the station for a breathalyzer test he refused to provide a breath sample. He is to appear in court on the 17th of September.

2) 30 year-old Jessie Jamieson of #305-1046 Peoples Road was arrested on the 13th of August around 1:40 am on Connaught Avenue and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 13th of August around 1:40 am the accused was driving her vehicle on Connaught Avenue and when she was stopped and checked by city police they discovered her to be under the influence of alcohol. She is to appear in court on the 17th of September.

Theft Under $5,000

37 year-old Allan Ross of #3-115 Albion Street was arrested on the 11th of August just after 4 pm on Queen Street and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that on the 11th of August around 4 pm the accused attended at the Parks Canada Office on Canal Drive (Locks) and stole a Dell laptop and modem. It is alleged that the accused was observed by one of the Parks Canada Employees who followed the accused and contacted police. When police checked the male on Queen Street near Gore Street he was found in possession of the laptop and modem in his packsack. He is to appear in court on the 17th of September.

The following break and enter were reported over the weekend:

1) A residence in the 1900 block of Base Line was entered on the 10th of August between the hours of 3:30 pm and 11:00 pm. A Ruger handgun, a 12 gauge shotgun, ammunition for the guns and some jewellery were reported stolen.

2) An Ellwood Robinson office at 2075 Great Northern Road was entered between the 10th of August after 5 pm and the 11th of August before 10 am. A computer and some money were reported taken.

3) The Law office of Peter Bortolussi on Albert Street East was entered sometime overnight on the 10th – 11th of August. A computer was stolen.

4) There was an attempt break and enter to a shed on Douglas Street reported that occurred sometime on the 11th of August.

5) A residence on First Avenue was entered between 6:30 pm on the 11th of August and 2 am on the 12th of August. A 20 inch Hitachi flat screen television and a 17 inch Excel Computer monitor were reported stolen.

6) A residence on St. Andrews Terrace was entered on the 12th of August. It is not known what was taken at this time.
