Bail Court

A 27 year old male will appear in bail court today charged with assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged that on the 13 April 2009 the accused assaulted his girlfriend by punching her in the face. The victim required stitches to her face. Police were notified and the accused turned himself into police on the 17 April 2009.

Two females aged 14 and 16 will appear in court on the 19 May 2009 charged with trespass by night. It is alleged that the two females were going through vehicles on Hugill St. in the early morning hours of the 18 May 2009.

40 year old Daniel Brian George Pittendrigh of 2917 Base Line will appear in court on the 25 May 2009 charged with impaired operation, failure to provide a breath sample and failing to remain at the scene of a collision. It is alleged that on the 18 April 2009 he was operating a GMC pick up truck on South Market St. where it left the road and struck a concrete light pole. The suspect continued operating the motor vehicle towards Boundary Road. Police followed the debris from the scene to the vehicle and suspect which were located at the corner of Trunk Road and Boundary Road. The driver was attempting to change a damaged tire at the time.

Break and Enters

A break in was reported to a home in the 100 block of Cathcart on the 19 April 2009. A laptop computer was reported taken

Also on the 19 April 2009 at Break in was reported to St. Mark School. A rock was used to smash the door handle. It has not been determined if anything was taken

A summer residence in the 200 block of Des Chenes Drive was broken into and the residence ransacked. It has not been determined if anything was taken.

A shed was entered in the 100 block of Boehmer Blvd. It is reported that a 2005 Artic Cat 4 wheeler was taken

A shed was entered in the 100 block of Willow Ave. It is not known if anything was taken.

Mischief

Two vehicles parked on Yates Ave. had there windows smashed. This occurred on the 19 April 2009 between 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm

A bus shelter on Boundary Road was damaged when someone smashed the glass panels. This is thought to have occurred in the early morning hours of the 18 April 2009
