Medical equipment reported stolen from McNabb Street business

40-year-old faces multiple charges as a result

Sault Ste. Marie police have laid break and enter charges after an incident that took place over the weekend. 

In a news release issued today, police say they responded to a call around 11:20 a.m. on Sunday after it is alleged that the accused went into a business in the 200 block of McNabb Street and stole equipment and medical supplies before leaving. 

Officers located the accused and the stolen items around 1:32 p.m. on Sunday in the 0-100 block of Chapple Avenue, and as a result, Myles Zacharie, 40, was arrested and charged with break and enter, theft over $5,000, mischief under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.

He was held for bail court.
