Man struck by vehicle outside Cambrian Mall, police confirm

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has confirmed a 73-year-old man was struck by a vehicle near Cambrian Mall’s BMO branch Thursday morning.

The man sustained minor injuries, said Lincoln Louttit, Sault Ste. Marie Police Service spokesperson, speaking to SooToday.

Louttit said a Sault EMS ambulance was at the scene but it is not believed the man was taken to hospital.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing, with no word of any charges at this point, Louttit said.
