On Oct. 11, 2019 officers with the Patrol Services Unit arrested 24-year-old John Hamel for assault.
On Oct. 11, 2019 the accused attended the residence of a person known to him. At that time he accused the victim of stealing something from him and he struck them. Others inside the residence were able to stop the exchange and remove Mr. Hamel from the residence.
Police attended and took him into custody. He is charged with one count of assault. He was held for bail court.
