Inmate at local jail threw two cups of urine at staff member: Sault Police

A Sudbury man in custody at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre is accused of throwing two cups of urine at a staff member who tried to stop him from flooding his jail cell.

Parker Poisson was arrested by Sault Police on Feb. 25 in connection with the incident, which occurred three days earlier. 

The 26-year-old is charged with:

  • Assault Peace Officer x2
  • Administer Noxious Thing x2
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order

He continues to be held in custody.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and Poisson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
