Crime Stoppers and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service have requested the help of the public to identify a suspect in a theft at Walmart in late-July.
The theft is the subject of the latest Crime Stoppers crime of the week.
The theft happened on July 24, 2022. Around 11:33 p.m., a man entered the Walmart location on Great Northern Road, walked through several aisles and filling a backpack with food items. Police say the suspect then walked out of the store through a fire exit.
The incident was caught on video surveillance.
