Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant: 30 year-old Peter Miller of #2-167 John Street was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 8th of October at 4:20 pm at his residence and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant:

30 year-old Peter Miller of #2-167 John Street was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 8th of October at 4:20 pm at his residence and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00, one count of fail to appear court and one count of breach of probation. He is to attend in bail court this morning.

Inmate Charged with Stolen Property:

27 year-old Louise Auger of no fixed address was arrested on the 8th of October at 3:25 pm at the Algoma Remand and Treatment Centre and charged with one count of possession of stolen property and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that when the accused was brought into custody to the Centre after being remanded in bail court earlier in the morning, she was found in possession of a wallet that had been reported stolen from a vehicle on the 7th of October. At the time of the offence the accused was on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. She is to appear in bail court once again this morning.

Male Arrested for Fraud Related Offences:

21 year-old Mario Gelinas-Comtois of 190 Catherine Street in Sylvestre Quebec was arrested at 12:20 pm on Bay Street and charged with one count of fraud, one count of obtain by false pretence, one count of personation with intent and one count of possession of stolen property. It is alleged that city police checked the accused in a vehicle that had unauthorized plates on it in the parking at the Station Mall. The accused falsely identified himself as another person with that person’s stolen identification. Officers also discovered that the accused falsely identified himself once again on the 6th of October when he registered the vehicle in that same person’s name. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Impaired Driver Arrested:

24 year-old Jamie Lato of 12 Ellis Road was arrested on the 9th of October at 2:15 am charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit. It is alleged that on the 9th of October at 1:48 am the accused was operating a Chev Cavalier on Second Line West when he struck a bell utility pole in the area of Whitney Avenue. Officers investigating the collision discovered that the driver, the accused, was under the influence of alcohol at the time. He is to appear in court on the 9th of November.

Domestic Related Arrest:

Last night around 12:08 am City Police were called to an east end bar in relation to a male and female causing a disturbance and fighting outside in the parking lot. Officers attended on scene and discovered that it was a domestic related dispute. The 20 year-old female was charged with one count of cause a disturbance by fighting and one count of breach of probation and the 22 year-old male was charged with one count of cause a disturbance. They are to appear in court on the 9th of November.

Male Arrested for Break and Enter to a home on Manilla Terrace:

22 year-old David Rous was arrested on the 9th of October on Wellington Street East and charged with one count of break, enter and commit and one count of possession of stolen property. It is alleged that on the 6th of October the accused broke into a residence on Manila Terrace and later attempted to pawn some of the stolen items at a local pawn shop. He is to appear in court on the 9th of November.
