Theft

Vehicles were entered in the 100 block of Koprash Crt and the 100 block of Parkshore Dr. Cash and electronic items were stolen.

Jewellery was stolen from a residence in the 700 block of North St.

A lap top computer was stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of Albert St. E.

A leaf blower was stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Red Pine Dr.

A bicycle was stolen from the 200 block of Whitney Ave.

An engine was stolen from a heavy equipment machine in the 100 block of Allen’s Side Rd.

Break and enter

An apartment in the 300 block of Albert St. E. was entered. A quantity of cash and food items were stolen.

One person to appear in bail court

Yesterday evening members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 53-year-old female for mischief and threatening. It is alleged that on August 7th 2011 the accused damaged several windows at a residence in the downtown area. It is further alleged that on September 27th 2011 the accused threatened to burn down the homes of three persons known to her. Gay Overland, age 53, of 627 Queen St. W. is charged with one count of threatening and one count of mischief under $5,000.

Male arrested for theft under $ 5,000

Yesterday evening members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 48-year-old male for theft. It is alleged that yesterday afternoon the accused attended at Rome’s Independent Grocers and stole $13.13 worth of deli meat products. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to police.

Augustino Greco, age 48 of 157 Willow Ave Apt # 3 is charged with one count of theft under $5,000.
Mr. Greco is to appear in court on November 7th at 9:00 am.
