The following two persons will be appearing in bail court this morning: 1) An 18 year-old male was arrested on the 5th of October at 1:05 am at his downtown residence and charged with one count of breach of probation.
The following two persons will be appearing in bail court this morning:

1) An 18 year-old male was arrested on the 5th of October at 1:05 am at his downtown residence and charged with one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 4th of October the accused communicated with his ex-girlfriend by sending a note to her. The accused is on probation with conditions not to communicate with her.

2) A 17 year-old male youth was arrested on the 4th of October at 3:18 pm at his east end residence and charged with one count of threaten death or bodily harm and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that on the 28th of September the accused approached his ex-girlfriend that was walking on Northern Avenue and threatened to kill her, her new boyfriend and their families. It is further alleged that the accused had also been sending messages to his ex-girlfriend by way of MSN and Face book. The accused is on a recognizance release condition not to communicate with her.

Two Counts of Breach

28 year-old Derrick Cadreau of #2-61 Wellington Street East was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 4th of October at 11:05 am on Grand Boulevard. He has been charged with two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 4th of October at 11:05 am the accused was observed walking on Grand Boulevard by city police who were aware that there was an outstanding warrant for the accused for breaching probations curfew conditions. He is to appear in court on the 5th of November.

The following break and enters were reported yesterday:

1) A residence on Sunnydale Road was entered some time between 1 pm – 2 pm on the 4th of October. Jewellery, electronics, money, decorative knives, video equipment and phones were reported stolen.

2) There was an attempt break and enter reported to a residence on Beaumont Avenue. No entry was gained.

The following mischief complaints were reported yesterday and overnight:

1) A brick was thrown through a window at the Believer’s Bible Chapel located on Henry Street on the 5th of October just after midnight.

2) The West End Confectionary located on Second Line West had some of the building and parking lot was spray painted. This occurred some time on the 4th of October.

3) A vehicle parked in the Good Life Fitness parking lot on Second Line East was keyed yesterday around 11:50 am.

4) A vehicle parked in the Autorama Sales lot on Black Road was damaged overnight on the 4th of October. The driver’s side window was smashed out.

1) Do not drink and drive. Designate a sober driver ahead of time.
2) Drive safe – obey speed limits.
3) Make sure everyone is buckled up – seat belts save lives.
4) Stay alert.
5) If you are traveling a long distance – plan extra travel time, and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
