Halloween and Devil’s Night Joint Safety Campaign
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to let the public know that once again the Twin Soo Radio Club volunteers will be out on Devil’s Night and also on Halloween Night assisting the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service to help ensure that the public has a safe and crime free time. The members of the club will be operating their own vehicles, which have “Sault Ste. Marie Community Safety Patrol” decals on them. They will notify the City Police of any criminal activities that they observe or come across. They do not respond to any police calls.

Shaw Cable will also be out on Halloween Night on “Pumpkin Patrol.” This is the sixth year that Shaw Cable has participated in this program locally. A number of Shaw Cable vans will be out and about patrolling neighbourhoods between 6 pm and 9 pm. If your child requires assistance please let them know that they can approach the Shaw Cable van for assistance.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service recommends that all door-to-door trick or treating be completed by 9:00 pm and in regards to Devils Night, homeowners are reminded to keep their homes well lit up on the outside.
