Probation Breach On the 19th of October City Police with the assistance of Rankin Reserve Police arrested 21 year old Zachery Bisaillon on an outstanding committal warrant.

Probation Breach

On the 19th of October City Police with the assistance of Rankin Reserve Police arrested 21 year old Zachery Bisaillon on an outstanding committal warrant. Bisaillon was also charged with breaching conditions of a Recognizance as well as a Probation order. It is alleged that he was not in his place of residence when he was required to be according to the Recognizance. Zachery Bisaillon will appear in Bail Court on  the 22nd of October at 10:00 a.m.

Armed Robbery Update

On the 18th of October at approximately 9:20 p.m. an unknown male entered the Canadian Tire Gas Bar located at 752 Wellington Street West.  The male was brandishing a knife and demanded cash from the lone worker.  The clerk complied and the suspect made off with an amount of cash.  The suspect is described as a male in his 20’s wearing a dark baseball hat with a green hoodie pulled over his head to cover his face.   This incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

Earlier release

Officers responded to an armed robbery at a business on Wellington Street West shortly after 9pm last night. A small amount of cash was taken and no injuries were reported. Officers are continuing to investigate this occurrence.

Male wanted for Sexual Assault

Members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Services Division are currently looking to arrest 27 year old Jarrett Joseph JOCKO for Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching. 

It is alleged that around midnight on the 25th of August 2012 a lone female victim was walking in the area of Wellington Street East near Simpson Street.  The female was approached by a male who was not known to her.  The male engaged the victim in a conversation at first, and then the victim was taken to a nearby secluded area.  Once in that area, the accused sexually assaulted the victim.  As a result of the investigation, officers were able to identify Jarrett Joseph JOCKO as the accused, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. 

If a member of the public observes Mr. JOCKO they are advised to contact police immediately and not approach this male.  Mr. JOCKO is described as an Aboriginal male 5’11” tall with a thin build weighing approximately 180lbs.  He has dark black hair, brown eyes and a goatee.  Please visit Facebook.com/ssmpolice to view a current photo of Mr. JOCKO.

Theft:

30 year old Jonathon Paul Campbell of The Crescent has been arrested and charged with Theft and Fraud over $5000. It is believed that between December of 2011 and October of 2012 he stole or defrauded his employer of over $5000. Mr. Campbell will appear in court on November 19th, 2012.
