Arrest:
On October 12, 2012, officers were called to a residence in the 20 block of Wellington Street East, for a person to be removed. A check of the individual found that he was on conditions not to consume alcohol. The accused was in an intoxicated state. Deiter Prairie Chicken, age 20 of 157 Willow Avenue, Apartment #2 was arrested for breach of an undertaking and will appear in bail court on October 12, 2012 at 10:00 am.
Arrest:
On October 12, 2012 at approximately 1:00 am the accused Alaina St. John age 19, of 59 Old Garden River Road was located in the 1200 block of Wellington Street East. It was found that the accused had an outstanding warrant for possession of stolen property and breach of probation. Further the accused was found to be in possession of a quantity of marihuana. The accused was further charged for breaching probation. The accused will appear in court on November 19th, 2012 at 09:00am.
Arrest:
On October 12, 2012 at approximately 1:00 am a young person, age 17 was checked in the area of Wellington Street East by Elizabeth Street. It was found that there was an outstanding warrant for possession of stolen property and breach of probation. The accused was arrested and will appear in court on November 13, 2012 at 9:30 am.
Driver Charged in fatal collision
As a result of the investigation into the fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on St. Georges Avenue East on October 3rd, 2012, officers with Traffic Services have charged 48 year old R-Scott CHORNEY of Grandview Avenue, with one count of Turn Not in Safety contrary to Section 142(1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
