GROCERY STORE THIEFT On the 30th of August 2003, the accused Terri Brown, age 29 of 473 Moody Street attended the No Frills Grocery Store located at 519 Korah Road.
GROCERY STORE THIEFT
On the 30th of August 2003, the accused Terri Brown, age 29 of 473 Moody Street attended the No Frills Grocery Store located at 519 Korah Road. The accused selected several items from inside the store and concealed them in her bag.

At approximately 5:29 pm the accused left the store without paying for the items. She was approached outside the store, by store security and told she was under arrest for theft.

The accused refused to accompany store security and pulled away from them. The co-accused, Jolene Lenius, age 23 also of 473 Moody Street attempted to retrieve the bag from store security and obstructed them. Both accused then left the area.

On Thursday, October 9th at 9:40 am patrol officers arrested both accused. Brown has been charged with Theft and Resist Arrest, while Lenius has been charged with Obstruct Peace Officer. They will appear in court on November 24th.


OUTSTANDING WARRANTS
On Thursday, the 9th of October 2003 Johanna Leveille, age 22 of 557 Shannon Rd. was turned away by American Customs as a result of a police records check revealing she was wanted by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

She was returned to Canada Customs where at 10:44 am patrol officers arrested her for outstanding warrants for Public Mischief and Failing to Attend for Court. She will appear in court on November 17th.


BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
On the 9th of October 2003 at approximately 2:45 pm, the accused Christopher Page, age 20 of #9-569 Queen Street East was found to be breaching his undertaking by associating directly with a person he had agreed not to see.

Patrol officers subsequently arrested and charged the accused with Breach of Recognizance. He will appear in court on November 17th.


TOO MUCH TO DRINK
On the 9th of October 2003, the accused, Alexander Yandryk, age 73 of 55 Algoma Ave was operating a motor vehicle while his ability to do so was impaired by alcohol. He was stopped at Canada Customs and arrested by Customs Officers.

At 7:25 pm patrol officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service continued the arrest and charged the accused with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08. He will appear in court on November 24th.


MARIJUANA CHARGES
On the 9th of October 2003 at approximately 10:34 pm patrol officers arrested the accused Nathan Mihichuk, age 23 of # 102-434 McNabb Street for possession of a narcotic.

The accused had in his possession 38 grams of marijuana while at his residence. The accused was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug. He will appear in court on November 17th
