Domestic Related Arrest

A 24 year-old male was arrested on the 6th of November at 3:20 pm on Wellington Street East and charged with one count of assault, one count of threaten death or bodily harm and three counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 3rd of November while at a local motel, the accused assaulted his girlfriend by punching her in the head and face and grabbing her around the neck and choking her. The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the assault.

Male Shoplifter Arrested

27 year-old Terrance Saunders of 1 Pow-Wow Road in Chapleau Ontario was arrested on the 6th of November at 5 pm at the Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00 and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that the accused attended at the store and stole a number of Blu-ray Discs valued at approximately $906.22. He was apprehended by store security and held for police.


Female Arrested after Forging Prescription

29 year-old Tressie Cook of 21 Teal Avenue was arrested on the 6th of November at 8:31 pm on Second Line West and charged with one count of uttering a forge document. It is alleged that on the 6th of November at approximately 7:20 pm the accused attended at the Market Mall Pharmacy on Second Line West and presented a forged prescription for Tylenol 4 to the pharmacist. She is to appear in court on the 8th of December.
