It is believed that a 2005 Mazda operated by Jean Paul Larochelle was traveling south bound on Korah Road and failed to stop for a red light at the intersection. The vehicle slid through the intersection and struck a west bound 2001 Chrysler on Douglas Street. The vehicle was struck on the passenger side and the driver was transported to hospital with non- life threatening injuries. Mr. Larochelle has been charged with 1 count of red light – failing to stop under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario. Both vehicles sustained severe damage.
