Reminder to Motorists

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is again reminding motorist to slow down and adjust their driving to the road conditions. Snow covered roads can be slippery underneath. Allow yourself extra stopping time especially when approaching areas where the school crossing guards are crossing children. Yesterday officers investigate 11 motor vehicle collisions, none with injuries. The majority of these collisions could have been avoided by drivers slowing down and allowing for the extra stopping time. Also remember to clean the snow off your car windows and ensure that your window is completely defrosted and your view is unobstructed before heading out on the streets.
