Bail Court A 51-year-old female was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 8:02 p.m. with regards to a breach of probation.
Bail Court
A 51-year-old female was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 8:02 p.m. with regards to a breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused was found by police at a residence of a male party known to her who was also present at the time. The accused was on a probation order with conditions including not to attend at that residence and to refrain from any form of communication with the male in her company. The conditions were resultant of a previous domestic incident. She was charged with two counts of breaching her probation and is presently awaiting bail court.

A 15-year-old male youth was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 6:52 p.m. in relation to an incident involving his mother. It is alleged that earlier at 9:30 a.m. the accused assaulted his mother by punching her. He was on probation at the time with conditions including to not molest, harass or annoy his mother and to keep the peace and be of good behavior. The victim did not sustain injuries that would have required medical attention. The accused was subsequently charged with assault and two counts of breach of probation and is awaiting bail court.

A 17-year-old female from Wawa Ontario was arrested on the 11th of November 2010 at 2:13 p.m. at the Station Mall subsequent to a shoplifting incident. It is alleged that the accused stole a package of condoms from the Station Mall Drug Mart. She was charged with one count of theft and is currently awaiting bail court.

Fraud
29-year-old Walker Ahmed of 324 River Road was arrested on the 10 of November 2010 at 11:04 p.m. in relation to numerous fraud related incidents. It is alleged that the accused defrauded his former employer (where he worked as an office manager and book keeper) over an approximate one year period from February 2008 to November 2009. It is alleged that during this time the accused defrauded his employer of an amount in excess of $50,000. He has been charged with False Pretence x 15, Forgery x 5, Fraud x 2, Uttering Forged Document x 1, and Theft x 1. The accused was released with a court date of the 13th of December 2010.

Assault With A Weapon
57-year-old Ghislain Reil Lebel of 70 East Street Unit #905 was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 9:59 p.m. at his place of residence subsequent to an incident that had occurred at that building earlier. It is alleged that at 8:18 p.m. the accused had gotten into a verbal argument with a female in the parking lot and he swung his cane several times in an attempt to strike her. The victim was not hit and did not sustain any injuries. The accused was charged with assault with a weapon and released with a court date of the 13th of December 2010.

Domestic
A 21-year-old female was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 2:25 p.m. in relation to a domestic related incident. It is alleged that the accused made false and misleading statements to the police on the 16th of September 2010 indicating that she had been criminally harassed and threatened by her ex boyfriend. As a result she was charged with public mischief and released with a court date of the 13th of December 2010.

Shoplifters
47-year-old Craig Leslie Muddimer of 569 Queen Street West was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 5:05 p.m. at Romes Grocery Store (44 Great Northern Road) for shoplifting. It is alleged that the accused stole some cheese and sausage and was arrested by security after leaving the store without paying. He was held for police and subsequently charged with theft. The accused will be attending court on the 13th of December 2010.

47-year-old Todd Alan Petrie of 142 Albert Street East was arrested on the 11th of November 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at the Metro Store (248 Northern Avenue) for shoplifting. It is alleged that the accused stole meat, cheese, and air fresheners prior to being arrested by store security. He was held for police and subsequently charged with theft. The accused was released with a court date of the 13th of December 2010.

Mischief
A 13-year-old male was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 4:40 p.m. at his place of abode and charged with mischief. It is alleged that the accused punched a hole in one of the walls. He was removed from the home and given a court date of the 14th of December 2010.

Careless Storage Of Firearms
28-year-old Darcey Ryan Sim of 107 Gibbs Street was arrested on the 10th of November 2010 at 10:07 p.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service in relation to an incident that had occurred on the 18th of October 2010 at 1:00 a.m. It is alleged that on that date the accused had stored a semi-automatic rifle and a 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun in an unlocked vehicle with ammunition. As well, there was no locking mechanism on either firearm. Both firearms had been stolen by two young males who had been going through vehicles in the area but dropped the guns and fled when they observed police. The guns were recovered at the time.

Break And Enter
A residence in the 200 Block of Albert Street West was broken into sometime during the night of the 10th of November 2010. A generator, air compressor and air nailers were taken.

Theft From Vehicles
The following thefts from vehicles have been reported during the past two days:
• 100 of East Street (three vehicles). One vehicle had window smashed and change stolen.
• Elgin Street (purse stolen)
• 400 block of Albert Street East (window smashed and purse stolen)
• 100 Block of Pardee (gas stolen)
• 500 block of Wilson Street (GPS stolen)
• Clergue Street
• 200 block of Great Northern Road (three vehicles). One window smashed (clothing and wallet stolen)
• 200 block of McNabb Street (window smashed and purse stolen)
• 500 block of Second Line East (two vehicles had windows smashed and a wallet was stolen)
• 200 block of St. Georges Avenue East (two vehicles). Window smashed and purse stolen
• 100 block of Grosvenor Avenue (window smashed)
• 100 block of Hugill Street (two vehicles). DVD, purse taken, change, and flashlight stolen.
• Riverview Avenue (change stolen)
• McMeeken Street
• Indiana Drive
