Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 39 year-old Clinton Perrault of no fixed address at 9:53 pm last night on Albert Street East and charged him with one count of theft under $5,000, two counts of breach of probation and one count of intoxicated in a public place. It is alleged that on the 12th of May at approximately 7:12 pm the accused attended at the LCBO store in the Station Mall and stole two bottles of vodka. Officers located the accused later in the downtown area and at the time he was intoxicated. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation with conditions to keep the peace and be good and further, he was not to attend at the LCBO store.

Three Domestic Related Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 41 year-old male at 5:50 pm last night at the police station and charged him with four counts of assault and one count of threaten death or bodily harm. Officers laid the charges after conducting a domestic violence investigation. It is alleged that during the past four years the accused has assaulted his girlfriend on numerous occasions and also threatened to kill one of her family members.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 20 year-old female on the 12th of May at 9:57 am and charged her with five counts of breach of a release document and one count of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that on the 12th of May at approximately 9:51 am the accused attended at the residence of her ex-boyfriend and was continuously kicking at his door and screaming. Officers arrived and found the accused under the influence of alcohol and holding a bottle of beer. Officers also discovered that she was wanted on a domestic related warrant for an incident involving her ex-boyfriend from the 30th of April when she had struck the victim over the head with a glass cup. The accused was on recognizance release order with conditions that she not attend at the victim’s residence, she was to abstain from the possession and consumption of alcohol, she was to keep the peace and be good and was not to communicate with the victim.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 30 year-old male on the 13th of May at 12:30 am and charged him with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the evening of the 12th of May the accused assaulted his common law partner at their residence during a domestic dispute.

Male Charged with Transportation Fraud
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 40 year-old Ronald Stewart of #14-314 Albert Street East on the 13th of May at 12:18 am at his residence and charged him with one count of transportation fraud and one count of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 12th of May just before midnight, the accused took a cab from Great Northern Road location to his residence and failed to pay the fare. Officers located the accused a short time later outside his residence in an intoxicated state. At the time of the incident the accused was on probation with conditions that he keep the peace and be good. He is to attend in court on the 13th of June.

Break and Enter Reports
• A residence on Third Line East was broken into sometime yesterday between 8:20 am and 4:15 pm. A Canon Power Shot camera, some jewellery and prescription drugs were reported stone.
• A residence on Northland Road was broken into yesterday between 11 am and 2:15 pm. A Mac Book Laptop and a Toshiba Computer were reported stolen.

Theft Reports
• Vehicles were entered on Harten Street, Pinemore Boulevard, Shannon Road and Elmwood Avenue. Items stolen included two purses, a DVD Player and passport.
• A wooden wagon was stolen from Wellington Street West.

Mischief Reports
• A window of a Caravan parked on Alden Road was smashed.
• A vehicle parked on Bloor Street West was scratched.
