Male to appear in bail court

Yesterday afternoon city police arrested 25-year-old Everett Dunn, of no fix address, on charges of theft over
$ 5,000. It is alleged that at approx. 10:00 am yesterday the accused stole a 2002 Kia Sedona from an address in the 300 block of Dacey Rd. It is further alleged that yesterday afternoon when police stopped the accused in the stolen vehicle he had a concealed weapon (a knife) on his person. The accused is charged with one count of theft over $ 5,000.00, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of possession of a concealed weapon.

Man arrested for assault and mischief

Yesterday afternoon city police arrested 41-year-old Darren Reed, of 551 Cooper St. Apt 303, on one count of assault and one count of mischief. It is alleged that at approx. 1:30 pm on March 17th 2010 the accused punched another male and then kicked that male’s vehicle, causing damage to a mirror. At the time of the incident the accused had been involved in a motor vehicle collision. The victim of the assault suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention. Mr. Reed will be appearing in court on April 19th.

Two males arrested for causing a disturbance

Yesterday evening city police arrested two males, at 1162 Queen St. E. for causing a disturbance by fighting and for mischief. It is alleged that the two accused were involved in a fight in the common area of an apartment building. It is further alleged that they committed the offence of mischief by interfering with the lawful enjoyment of the other tenant’s property. Charged are:
Jordan Morrar, age 21, of 1162 Queen St. E. Apt 5
Joshua Vanatta, age 21, of 343 Korah Rd.
Both Mr. Morrar and Mr. Vanatta are charged with one count of causing a disturbance by fighting and one count of mischief. Mr. Vanatta is further charged with one count of breach of probation.
Both accused will be appearing in court on April 26th.

Mischief

A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Tadcaster Pl was damage.
A residence in the 400 block of Albert St. W. was paint balled.
Windows were broken in the 400 block of Queen St. W. and the 1600 block of Wellington St. E.

Theft

Vehicles were entered in the following locations:
The 200 block of Albert St. E. – CDs and cash were taken.
The 200 block of Great Northern Rd. – two vehicles entered – keys, cash and electronics were taken.
The 100 block of Drake St.- personal papers taken.
The 100 block of Blue Jay Crt – personal papers and clothing were taken.
