Male Arrested after Causing Damage at Local Bar

21 year-old Curtis St. Pierre of 26 Manitou Drive was arrested on the 12th of March at 1:45 am on McNabb at Black Road and charged with two counts of mischief. It is alleged that on the 12th of March around 1:30 am city police were called to a local bar regarding the accused causing a disturbance and damage in the bar. Officers learned that the accused damaged a bathroom wall after punching holes in it and then also smashed a pane of glass out of one of a window after kicking it. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Domestic Related Arrest

A 26 year-old male was arrested on the 11th of March at 9:30 pm at his residence and charged with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 11th of March just after 9 pm, the assaulted his common law spouse at their residence. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Male Arrested for Drug Trafficking

46 year-old Ronald Renner of #4-171 Breton Road was arrested on the 11th of March at 9:35 am at his residence and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. It is alleged that on the 9th of March the accused attended at the Greyhound Bus Terminal on Brock Street and attempted to ship approximately 15 grams of marijuana to White River. He is to appear in court on the 12th of April.

Two Youths Arrested after Stealing Bike

Two male youths, ages 16 and 17, were arrested on the 11th of March at 12:15 am were arrested yesterday at a west end residence and charged with theft under $5,000,00 after they allegedly stole a bike from a local elementary school One of the male youths was found in possession of bolt cutters in his gym bag. They are to appear in court on the 20th of April.

Armed Robbery at Mac’s Convenience Store on Gore Street

City police are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred overnight at the Mac’s Convenience Store on Gore Street. On the 12th of March at approximately 1:45 am a lone male entered the store with a knife and demanded cigarettes and cash from the till. The clerk complied and was not physically harmed. The suspect fled on foot in an easterly direction with an undisclosed amount of cash and two packages of Export A Gold King Size Cigarettes. Police searched for the suspect with negative results. The male was described as being approximately 15-18 years of age, 5’5, approximately 130 pounds, wearing a black hoodie over his head and face and tinted glass ski goggles.
