Male Found in Possession of Drugs During Traffic Stop
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23 year-old Anthony Ramkay of 159 Sutton Place at 12:53 am overnight and charged him with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance, two counts of breach of a release document and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 22nd of July at approximately 12:47 am officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Pim Street and at the time the found the driver, the accused, to be in possession of a bag of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, including packaging materials and a scale.

At the time of the incident the accused was on an undertaking order with conditions that he not be in possession any non-prescribed drugs or drug paraphernalia. Further he was on probation with conditions that he keep the peace and be good and not be in possession of any drugs.

Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Misty Fleming of 864 Queen Street East on the 21st of July at 5:25 pm on Albert Street East on an outstanding warrant. She has been charged with two counts of fail to appear court and one count of fail to appear for prints.

Two Domestic Related Arrests
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 50 year-old male at 9:06 am yesterday morning and charged him with one count of breach of probation and one count of breach of a release document. It is alleged that officers attended at a domestic disturbance call at a residence early yesterday morning and at the time found that the accused was not to communicate or associate with the female and as well he was to keep the peace and be good.

Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 36 year-old male wanted on an outstanding warrant at 2:10 pm yesterday afternoon and charged him with one count of assault. It is alleged that on the 16th of July the accused assaulted his common law partner at their residence.

Male Arrested for Mischief
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 21 year-old Anthony Marasco of 866 Pine Street overnight and charged him with one count of mischief under $5,000 and one count of intoxicated in a public place. It is alleged that on the 22nd of July at approximately 1:27 am officers received a call to local downtown bar regarding the accused causing a disturbance and causing damage at the bar. Officers arrived and found the accused in an intoxicated state and discovered that staff of the bar had asked the accused to leave and the accused kicked the front door causing damage to the window. The accused is to appear in court on the 29th of August.

Female Arrested with Assault with a Weapon
Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested [charge withdrawn] on the 21st of July at 5:50 pm at her residence and charged her with one count of threaten death or bodily harm and two counts of assault with a weapon. It is alleged that the accused was in a neighbour dispute with two persons known to her and threw rocks at them striking them both. The accused also picked up a brick and threatened to kill one of them. The accused is to appear in court on the 29th of August.

Break and Enter Reports
• A residence and garage were entered sometime during the past two weeks on Hardwood Avenue. Jewellery was reported stolen.

• A mobile trailer at a construction site on Third Line East was broken into and a laptop was reported stolen.

Mischief/Theft
Three vehicles had windows smashed out. A theft was reported from one of the vehicles on Tilley Road.
