4x4 Stolen. City Police are investigating the theft of a red 1998 BIG BEAR 4X4 Yamaha 4 wheeler. It was take from the 500 block of Walls Rd. in Prince Township. It is believed the 4wheeler was taken sometime between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

City Police are investigating the theft of a red 1998 BIG BEAR 4X4 Yamaha 4 wheeler. It was take from the 500 block of Walls Rd. in Prince Township. It is believed the 4wheeler was taken sometime between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the 17th of July. Police are asking if anyone has any information to please contact City Police, 949-6300 ext. 210.

Young offender charged.

Police charged a 13yr. old young offender for threatening. It appears the youth had threatened to kill his mother by slitting her throat. The accused is to appear in court 26 Aug. 2003.

No injuries in Second Line accident.

City Police investigated an accident that occurred on Second Line East at the Wal Mart entrance. A vehicle being driven by Steven Ralph Perisiol, age 21, of 10 LaCahaumiere, turned right out of the driveway at Wal Mart to proceed East bound and struck a West bound vehicle being driven by Mary Gillespie of 72 Letcher St. No injuries were sustained in the accident and damage was minor. Steven Perisiol has been charged with fail to yield right of way.

Bruin raids garden.

City Police answered 88 calls for service and only one was a bear call in the Third Line West area. It seems the bear was hungry and raided a garden in the 900 block. Police have made arrangements for a trap to be set.
