Male Arrested for being Unlawfully in a Residence 18 year-old Andres Duchesne of 298 Fourth Avenue was arrested on the 10th of July at 2:42 on Alberta Avenue and charged with one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house.
Male Arrested for being Unlawfully in a Residence

18 year-old Andres Duchesne of 298 Fourth Avenue was arrested on the 10th of July at 2:42 on Alberta Avenue and charged with one count of unlawfully in a dwelling house. It is alleged that on the 10th of July around 6:30 am the accused was found inside of a residence on Pim Street by the homeowner. The accused is known to the homeowner. The accused did not have permission to be in the residence at that time.
He is to appear in court on the 18th of August.

Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant

19 year-old Jason Pine of 1685 Highway 17 East, Garden River, Ontario was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the city police station on the 10th of July at 3:46 pm. He has been charged with one count of fail to appear court from the 31st of March.

Female Shoplifter Arrested

56 year-old Darlene Assiginack of 428 Albert Street West was arrested on the 10th of July at 2:40 pm the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 10th of July just before 2 pm the accused attended at the Zellers store and stole some clothing. She was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 18th of August.

Property Crimes:

Break and Enters

1) There was a break and enter reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources at 145 McNabb Street and a Ministry vehicle was reported stolen. The vehicle is a 2007 white Chev Uplander Van with Ministry Ontario insignia on both doors.

2) A residence on Letcher Street was entered sometime between the 3rd the e 8th of July. A Flat Screen television was reported stolen.

3) A shed on Trelawne Avenue was entered sometime between July 5th and the 10th. A Craftsman lawnmower was stolen.

4) Wingnuts Eatery and Beverages at 350 Lake Street was entered between 3 am and 7 am this morning. It is not known at this time what was taken.

Theft Reports Regarding Vehicles:

- A vehicle on Hugill Street was entered around 4 am this morning by a male that was wearing an Army type of jacket and riding a bike. The complainant discovered a GPS System stolen from the vehicle.

- A vehicle was entered overnight on the 9th-10th of July in the 600 block apartment complex on Macdonald Avenue. A woofer, amp and a tool box full of tools was stolen.

- A vehicle in the 100 block of Glen Avenue was entered and some change was stolen.

- A vehicle on Millwood Street was entered and a Pioneer face plate and an I-POD were stolen.
Tail light covers were stolen off a vehicle parked at WM.G. Milne Transport on Industrial Park Crescent.

More Items Stolen:

- A large amount of scrap metal was stolen from a lot located just east of the old East End Husky Business. The complainant described that the metal was cut into 2 foot by 5 foot bars and that approximately two tons were stolen sometime overnight on the 9th-10th of July.

- A lawnmower was stolen at a residence on Stevens Street yesterday.

- Two Inglis washers and two Maytag dryers were stolen from the front yard area of the Stuff Store on Korah Road on the 10th of July.

- A Garage was broken into sometime overnight on the 4th of July 2008 on Farquhar Street.
A 2001 Yamaha YZ 250 Motorcross Motorbike was stolen. It was blue with the #44 on the plate.
