The last 24 hours were relatively quiet for the City Police. There were two break and enters reported and one stabbing. The first break-in occurred at a construction site in the John Street and Wellington Street W. area.

The first break-in occurred at a construction site in the John Street and Wellington Street W. area. The culprit(s) entered the work site overnight Wednesday to Thursday. Entry was discovered at 7 a.m. on Thursday. It is not known at this time what, if anything, was stolen.

The second entry took place in the 500 block of Bush Street. A garage was entered overnight and an unknown quantity of tools was taken.

The details on the stabbing are as follows: On Thursday Feb. 14 at about midnight the victim was in his residence in the 100 block of Wellington Street W. when he heard a commotion out front. When he went out to investigate the matter he saw a male assaulting a female. The complainant tried to stop the suspect from hitting the female but then became involved in a wrestling match with the suspect. The complainant managed to free the female and push the suspect to the ground. The s
