Arrests : On December 6th at 5:24pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Gordon Leonard, age 46 of 770 Bonney Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Leonard had his parole revoked for pre-existing charges.

On December 6th at 5:24pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested Gordon Leonard, age 46 of 770 Bonney Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Leonard had his parole revoked for pre-existing charges. He was transported to the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre.

On December 06 at 9:20pm officers attended a west end residence to assist a male who required medical care. While at the residence officers arrested a 49 year old male for an outstanding domestic violence warrant.

Motor Vehicle Collisions:

On December 6th at approximately 7:00pm city police were alerted of a single motor vehicle collision by a motorist travelling behind a City Transit Bus on Queen Street East. The bus driver had a medical problem which caused her to lose consciousness.  The bus crossed over the center lane of Queen Street, over a lawn, a driveway, a second lawn, another driveway then came to a stop in a vacant field. None of the passengers or the driver were injured from the incident.

At 11:30pm City police attended at another single motor vehicle collision at McNabb Street and Black Road.

A traffic light post was knocked down from the impact. Sean Sikes, age 20 of 1086 McNabb Street was charged with careless driving.  The female passenger sustained minor head injuries.
