Male Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography:

58 year-old Louis Stocker of 80 Connor Road was arrested at 1:50 pm on Industrial Park Crescent and charged with one count of possession of child pornography. It is alleged that between the 1st of July and the 31st of August the accused, on his computer at his place of work, did have in his possession, child pornography. He is to appear in bail court this morning.

Female Arrested on Outstanding Warrants:

31 year-old Berni Lynn Nadon of 159 Carufel Avenue was arrested on outstanding warrants on the 17th of December at 9:20 at her residence and charged with one count of possession of stolen property, one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance, one count of breach of a release document and one count of breach of probation. The charges are in relation to a search warrant that was conducted by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Street Team and the OPP at the accused female’s residence back on the 26th of November. Officers had located stolen property and a small amount of marijuana during the course of the search. She is to appear in bail court this morning.

Property Crimes:

35 bails of hay were reported stolen from a residence property in the 700 block of Frontenac Street.
