Male to appear in bail court Last night at 9:00 pm members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 22-year-old Troy Bozowski, of 441 Queen St. W. Apt # 209 for theft, mischief, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
Male to appear in bail court
Last night at 9:00 pm members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 22-year-old Troy Bozowski, of 441 Queen St. W. Apt # 209 for theft, mischief, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused male and a young female attended at the Essar Centre, broke into a vehicle and stole items from that vehicle. Upon his arrest officers located the stolen items on the accused. It is further alleged that at the time of these offences the accused was on a probation order release. Mr. Bozowski is charged with one count of mischief under $ 5,000, one count of theft under $ 5,000, one count possession of property obtained by crime and one count of breach of probation.

Female arrested for theft and possession of stolen property
Last night at 9:00 pm members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 16-year-old female for theft and possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged that the accused female and a 22-year-old male attended at the Essar Centre, broke into a vehicle and stole items from that vehicle. Upon her arrest officers located stolen items on the accused. The young person is charged with one count of theft under $ 5,000 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime and is to appear in court on January 25th.

Female arrested for mischief
At approximately 1:40 am this morning members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 20-year-old Kristy Charrette, of 59 Atwater St., for mischief. It is alleged that the accused attended at a residence in the 100 block of Albert St. W. and broke a window at that location. Ms Charrette is charged with one count of mischief under $5,000 and is to appear in court on January 24th.

Males arrested for theft
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested 29-year-old Arle Matheson, of no fixed address, for theft. It is alleged that the accused attended at the Metro Store on Northern Ave at approximately 1:30 pm and stole $18.99 worth of items from the pharmacy department. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to police. Mr. Matheson is charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and is to appear in court on January 24th.

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service were called to attend at the Zellers Store in the Station Mall regarding a shoplifter. Upon arrival officers arrested 38-year-old Shawn Holder, of 130 Albert St. W. It is alleged that Mr. Holder attended at the Zellers Store and stole $14.98 worth of food items. The accused was apprehended by store security and turned over to police. Mr. Holder is charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and is to appear in court on January 24th.

Break and Enter
At approximately 4:00 am this morning city police were called to an address in the 200 block of John St regarding an attempted break and enter. A lone male suspect was seen trying to break into a residence. The suspect is described as male, 17-19 years of age, wearing a black puffy coat and blue jeans.

A garage was entered in the 900 block of Great Northern Rd. Power tools were reported stolen.

Theft
A vehicle parked on Cathcart St. near Huron St. was entered yesterday. Power tools were stolen.
