Three persons to appear in bail court
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 14-year-old male for breaching his undertaking. It is alleged that the accused failed to reside at the address specified in his release order. The accused is charged with one count of breach of an undertaking.

Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 66-year-old male for sexual assault. It is alleged that between the years 2007 and 2011 the accused sexually assaulted two young females – that were known to him. It is further alleged that during the same time period the accused committed the offences of sexual interference with the same victims. The accused is charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference.

Early this morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old male for break and enter. It is alleged that the accused broke into a secure compound in the 100 block of Sackville Rd and attempted to steal copper wire. The accused was apprehended by the property owners and turned over to police. Darren Kudyba, age 23, of 379 Cathcart St. is charged with one count of break and enter.

Male arrested for a male for several weapons related offences
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 19-year-old male for dangerous driving, carrying a prohibited weapon, assault with a weapon and administering a noxious thing. It is alleged that on July 22nd the accused was driving his vehicle on Second Line W. in a dangerous manner. It is further alleged that on the same date the accused sprayed, a person known to him, with pepper spray.

At the time of the assault the victim was taken to the Sault Area Hospital and treated for his injuries. Brandon Weston, age 19, of 84 Broadview Dr. is charged with one count of dangerous driving, one count of carrying a prohibited weapon, one count of assault with a weapon and one count of administering a noxious thing. Mr. Weston is to appear in court on September 12th at 9:00 am.

Male arrested for assault
Early this morning members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 19-year male for assault. It is alleged that on August 2nd the accused assaulted his ex-girlfriend. The victim did not require medical attention for any injuries. The accused was located this morning and charged with one count of assault. The accused is to appear in court on Wednesday September 7th at 9:00am.

Break and enter
An attempted break and enter occurred early this morning to a residence in the 600 block of Second Line W. Suspects were frightened off by the home owner.

Mischief
A door at a residence in the 100 block of Ruth St was damaged.

A vehicle was damaged in the 400 block of Second Line W.

Theft
A large quantity of copper wire was stolen from a business in the 100 block of Sackville Rd.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Goulais Ave.

A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Dauphin Dr.

Electronic items were stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Robin St.

Cash and personal papers were stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Albert St. E.

Two youths stole fishing equipment from a business in the 200 block of McNabb St.
