Knife robbery this morning at Mac's on Bruce Street Around 4:30 a.m. this morning City police attended at the Mac's Mart Store located at Bruce Street and Wellington Street East for a robbery. The lone clerk was not injured.

Around 4:30 a.m. this morning City police attended at the Mac's Mart Store located at Bruce Street and Wellington Street East for a robbery.

The lone clerk was not injured.

An older style brown car pulled into the parking lot and the suspect got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and entered the store, while the vehicle left.

The male suspect than brandished a bladed kitchen knife at the clerk while demanding that the till be opened.

The clerk complied and the male left the store with a small, undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a male, short to average height, and of average weight.

The male was wearing a balaclava over his face and was wearing a navy blue or dark colored jacket with a zipper and a hood, jeans and mitts or gloves on his hands.

The suspect fled the store on foot headed north up Bruce Street.
