One male adult will be appearing in bail court charged with threatening in relation to a domestic dispute.  

Single Motor Vehicle Collision results in Impaired Driving Arrest:

On the 19th of April at 9:55 pm officers received a call regarding a an impaired driver that attempted to drive out of a parking lot of a local bar and reversed into the building.  When officers attended they found the involved female driver under the influence of alcohol.   The driver was not injured in the collision and the vehicle and building received minor damage.  As a result, the driver, Wendy Michaud, age 59, of 43 Arden Street was arrested  and charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of consume over the legal limit.  She is to appear in court on the 28th of May. 

Female Arrested for Theft in Relation to Shoplifting Incident:

On the 19th of April at 5:00 pm officers received a shoplifting complaint at Wal-Mart on Great Northern Road.  As a result of the investigation, Candice Champagne, age 20, of 784 River Road was charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00.  She is to appear in court on the 28th of May.  

Break and Enter/Theft Reports:

  • A residence eon Old Garden River Road was entered yesterday morning.  A jacket, a wallet and keys were reported taken.  
  • A window vehicle on Northern Avenue was smashed and a purse that had been left inside was stolen.

Mischief Reports:

  • A residence and vehicle were vandalized on Wawanosh Avenue sometime Wednesday overnight. Garage windows were reported damaged at local business on Great Northern Road.
  • A vehicle was vandalized on Grandmont Crescent.  
  • A flowerbox was vandalized on Knox Avenue.
