Criminal Harassment & Mischief A 33 year-old male was arrested on the 17th of April at 10:42 pm at a west end residence and charged with one count of criminal harassment and one count of mischief under $5,000.00.

A 33 year-old male was arrested on the 17th of April at 10:42 pm at a west end residence and charged with one count of criminal harassment and one count of mischief under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 17th of April around 10:23 pm the accused attended at his ex-girlfriend’s residence and attempted to kick in the front door, damaging the frame. It is further alleged that the accused called her on the phone numerous times throughout the day against her wishes. The accused is to appear in bail court this morning.

Possession

44 year-old Kelly Keller of 637 Queen Street West was arrested on the 18th of April at 12:12 am in the parking lot of a downtown business and charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance. It is alleged that on the 18th of April around midnight, city police were dispatched to the parking lot for a report of an intoxicated female. When officers were dealing with the accused, she was found to be in possession of approximately 17.2 grams of cocaine and various other drug paraphernalia. She is to appear in court on the 26th of May.

Shoplifting from Zelers

A 16 year-old female youth was arrested on the 17th of April at 8:10 pm at the Station Mall and charged with one count of theft under $5,000.00. It is alleged that on the 17th of April around 8 pm the accused attended at Zellers in the Station Mall and stole several music CD’S and Play station games. The accused was apprehended by store security and held for police. She is to appear in court on the 27th of May.

One Break & Enter

There was one break and enter reported yesterday to the Red Rock Contracting Business located on Yates Street. It is not known at this time what was taken.

There were two mischief reports taken yesterday:

1) Windows of the bus shelter on Northern Avenue near Willow were broken sometime overnight on the 16th-17th of April.

2) Youths threw a smoke bomb firecracker into the Mac’s Convenience Store on Queen Street East. There was no damage or injuries reported. One of the male youths, described as 5’8”, 120-130 pounds, wearing a beige hoody, ran from the store and got into a dark coloured vehicle that was last seen driving towards Millwood Street.
