Female Charged in Domestic Dispute

A 61 year old female will be attending bail court this morning. It is alleged that at 4am on the 9th of April the accused attended her down town residence and kicked in a bedroom door. Once inside the room she grabbed the male victim by the hair and pushed him. The victim who is in a common law relationship with the accused, reached a telephone and contacted the Police. At this time the accused threatened him by saying “if you call Police, I’m going to kill you.” Police attended and arrested the female. She has been charged with 1 count of assault and 1 count of threatening death.

Assault, Criminal Harassment and Breach

A 45 year old male will be appearing in bail court this morning. It is alleged that just before 11pm last night the accused called his ex-girlfriends work place, and then followed her as she left to head home. The accused grabbed her in an attempt to speak to her, and then he assaulted her near her East end residence by grabbing her arm and face. The accused stated to the victim “you won’t get away from me this time.” She eventually managed to get away and call Police. The accused was on a probation order to not molest, harass or annoy the victim. The accused has been charged with 1 count of assault, 1 count of criminal harassment and 1 count of breach of probation order.

Impaired Driving

24 year old Kenneth Robert McKinley of 67 Robin Street has been charged with 1 count of impaired driving and 1 count of consume over legal limit. The accused was observed by City Police exiting the Studio 10 where he got into the drivers side of a Hyundai Accent. The accused proceeded to drive away until he was stopped by Police on Hudson Street, where he exhibited signs of alcohol impairment to the officers on scene. He was charged and taken into custody. Kenneth McKinley is scheduled to appear in court on the 12th of May.

Charged with Break & Enter

20 year old Nicolo Binda of 500 Wallace Terrace Apt#2 turned himself into Police just after 5am this morning. Police had a warrant out for the arrest of Mr.Binda for 1 count of break and enter. It is believed that on the 12th of February just after 3am the accused attended at an east end residence and broke in, stealing a play station 3, jeweler, money, two cell phones, a guitar and a camera. The accused is believed to be known by the victim of the break and enter and information was received by Police identifying the accused as the culprit. He is scheduled to appear in court on the 12th of May.

Break & Enter

A break and enter was reported yesterday just after 8pm in the area of Carpin Beach Road. It is unknown at this time what was taken.
