On June 24, 2018, officers with the Patrol Services Division of The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 23-year-old Tyler Gregg of Willow Avenue for impaired driving.
Just after 2:15 a.m. officers observed the accused operating a motor vehicle on Bruce Street. The officers observed sparks coming from the rear of the vehicle and noted that the rear tire was deflated and the vehicle was being driven on the rim.
Officers stopped the vehicle and developed grounds to believe that the accused was operating the motor vehicle while his ability to do so was impaired by alcohol. He was taken into custody and has been charged with one count of impaired driving. He will appear in court on July 30.
