One person was arrested and charged on Monday morning after calling 911 to report that they had broken into a Queen Street West business.

Responding officers located the accused, 32-year-old Jordan Wiles, inside the business "holding money," says a news release from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.

"A subsequent search and investigation revealed the accused did steal currency and food items," the release says.

As a result, Wiles is scheduled to appear in court on April 24 and stands charged with:
    •    Break and entering with intent
    •    Theft under $5,000
    •    Mischief
