Our local police force is looking to immediately hire 17 new officers — and even more in the near future, with multiple retirements on the horizon.
To help with recruitment efforts, Sault Police produced a slick new video aimed at attracting potential applicants.

This engaging and informative video is part of the service’s continuous effort to showcase the diverse roles and opportunities available as well as the benefits of working and living in Sault Ste. Crafted with the insight of members, the video provides a unique glimpse into the life of a Sault Ste. Marie police officer, highlighting the challenging yet rewarding nature of police work in our community. From frontline policing to specialized units, viewers will get a glimpse into the various pathways their careers can take within our service.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has been approved to hire seventeen new officers over the next four years and, with several members becoming eligible for retirement soon, additional job openings are likely.
