SAULT STE MARIE POLICE SERVICE

On Feb. 9, 2017 officers with the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested a 49-year-old male in relation to an assault.
It is alleged that in July and August of 2015 the accused assaulted a child in his care causing bruises to the child’s neck, arms and chest.
The accused was arrested on Feb. 9, 2017 and charged with 2 counts of assault. He will appear in court on Mar. 20, 2017.
