19-year-old accused of stealing victim's dog, marijuana

Police have charged Shawn Seymour following a break-in that occurred last evening in the 400 block of McNabb Street.

A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service states that officers responded to the scene at approximately 10 p.m. after it is alleged that the 19-year-old accused "entered a residence and took the victim’s dog and approximately two grams of marijuana."

Seymour was located by police a short time later in possession of the missing dog as well as two grams of marijuana.

He is scheduled to appear in court on July 26 and stands charged with break and enter.
